Start your day chasing Gold Coast’s most exciting reef and game species aboard one of our big, stable True Blue vessels. Departing from Main Beach at 6:00am sharp, our 5-hour morning deep sea fishing charter takes you through the famous Seaway and out to prime offshore fishing grounds.

Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned angler, our experienced skipper and deckhand will guide you every step of the way – helping you master techniques to target prized catches like Snapper, Mackerel, Tusk fish, Teraglin, Cobia, Wahoo, Tuna, and more. Expect plenty of laughs, expert tuition, and the thrill of reeling in your next big story.

    • Plenty of free parking available
  • Weather: Charters may be rescheduled in the event of high winds or rough seas. Trips go ahead in light rain – just bring a jacket!

Everything You Need to Know

Before you cast off, here’s everything you need to know to make your morning deep sea fishing trip smooth and enjoyable. From where to meet to what to bring, our crew has you covered so you can relax and focus on landing your next big catch.

Safety always comes first. If strong winds or rough seas are forecast, your trip will be rescheduled to another day. We’ll notify you the night before via text or phone. Trips still go ahead in light rain – just bring a jacket and your sense of adventure!

Bookings can’t be cancelled, but you can reschedule with notice:

  • Shared charters: 7 days’ notice
  • Private charters: 14 days’ notice

If notice isn’t provided or you miss your trip, your booking (or voucher) will be forfeited per our Terms and Conditions.

Not at all! Our charters are perfect for beginners and experienced anglers alike. Our friendly crew provides hands-on tuition and will help you learn local techniques for baiting, reeling, and landing your catch.

Yes! We welcome kids aged 7 and over on all shared charters (younger children by private booking only). Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own snacks, lunch, and drinks. Beer in cans and wine are permitted in moderation. Please note – no spirits or glass bottles are allowed onboard.

We don’t issue refunds for seasickness, so if you’re prone to motion sickness, take preventative medication before boarding. Our boats are large and stable, with shaded seating to help keep you comfortable.

We accept cash and card payments. A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due before departure. If you book online, you can pay safely through our secure booking system.

All legal-sized fish are yours to keep! Our crew will gill, gut, and bag your catch so it’s ready for cooking or freezing once you return to shore.

Yes. All True Blue Fishing vessels are fully insured and Queensland Government-survey certified. Each boat features lifejackets, radios, GPS tracking, and modern safety gear. You’ll receive a full safety briefing before departure.

All charters depart from The Spit Pontoon, Muriel Henchman Drive, Main Beach, QLD (near Sea World).
