The afternoon Half Day Deep Sea Fishing Charter departs at 11:00 am. We head out through the Seaway to the Offshore fishing reefs for an awesome day of Gold Coast reef and game Fishing. 5 hour morning fishing trips are perfect for both beginners and expert fisherman alike, or those that have limited time available and need the afternoon free. Our friendly, experienced professional Skipper and deckhand will show you the best techniques for catching a wide variety of bottom dwelling and pelagic fish species. Target species include Cobia, Mackerel, Marlin, Teraglin, Tuskfish, Snapper, Jewfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Tailor, Trevally and many more. Great fun for the whole family, individual and group bookings available.
Price: $160.00 per person.
Inclusions: All bait and fishing tackle, ice cold, bottled water, full tuition, legal fish gutted, gilled and bagged.
Participant Guidelines:We advise all of our clients to listen closely to our experienced crews to ensure your safety while out on the water, we will brief you on safety equipment and how to use it before departure. Once we arrive at fishing grounds our crew will demonstrate and explain safe and correct methods of how to use our deep sea fishing tackle. We advise all passengers to bring a hat and sunscreen for your own protection from harmful UV rays. Our boat is in current Queensland department of transport survey and is fully equipped with all required safety equipment, on board toilet, padded seats and full cover for protection from the elements.
Departure Time: 11:00am sharp, please arrive at jetty by 10:40am. Charter returns at 4:00pm.
Weather conditions: We do not fish if strong winds or big seas are forecast. It is very important that you provide a phone number that we can contact you on the night before your trip in case the charter has to be re scheduled or cancelled in the event of bad weather. We only cancel if high winds and/or big seas are forecast. We do not cancel if it’s raining, if rain is forecast we advise that you bring a suitable jacket or rain coat.

“Had a fantastic day out on Danesa K this morning, had a fantastic day out with True blue. Came down early in the morning from Mt tamborine for a 6am start. After a quick safety briefing from the skipper we were underway and soon heading out of the seaway. After arriving at the first reef after 25 minutes of travel we were raring to go. Deckhand Troy gave us the low down on how to bait up and use the gear. As soon as the baits hit the bottom the fish started biting and it wasn’t long before fish came aboard, as they came up the crew measured them to check they were legal size. Some went back to grow bigger, some were gutted and put in the ice box. We caught Snapper, Jewfish, rock cod, tailor and one lucky guy on the boat got a massive Cobia that weighed 17 kilograms. We fished several different spots with varied results. In between spots the crew dropped the roll down curtains to deflect the sea spray and keep us all warm and dry on a chilly day out. At the end of the day the boys bagged all of our fish to take home to eat. The boat was Tidy and my wife was very pleased to find it had a clean onboard toilet. Cant wait to go again and will recommend to friends and family. Thanks for great day out.”
